all i can say is well done tommo your my hero now well apart from john lowe lolhow much did that trip cost u it must of been great funjay
at least u didnt wear the boro shirt lol
great photos R Kid, put me down for next year - i'll show those steely-eyed locals a thing or two about the number twentysix :)related story: was on my night porter gig bout a week b4 you went, when in walks a familiar face and i thought 'it's the short one off Hale&Pace' but no it's darts dwarf Keith Dellor doin the Exhibition thang round local clubs for a few nights. when he's ordered his post-match cheese toastie (aah, the high life)i mentions you're off to the Carrib w John Lowe and Dellor sez 'yea, i wuz offered that but i had a look at it and thought i'd give it a miss'. i bit my lip but i really should have drawn the comparison to doin the workies' clubs in Boro. sod didn't tip neither lol. ps dig ur gf ;)phil
Jay > I still hit my regular junk on match nights though! Single travelers pay £910, which is only a single supplement of 70 odd quid - none of the other companies do that! Full details and prices for next year's event will appear here in good time. Which sad git wears a footbal top in paradise anyway? I forgot to pack it TBH :o)Phil > Thanks! More to come, but I didn't do too well in the final few competitions. Everything just caught up with me towards the end, and I'll pace myself better next time.
I've enjoyed all of your posts about your trip! Looking foward to the next one!
Thanks dart talk. It's been really enjoyable doing this, as I don't usually have much to blog about other than League Matches.
You could always double up with a mate if you want to save money. They do have rooms with 2 single beds in them
Thanks Anon. Are you Andrea with the Italian blog BTW? - you seem to be showing up as "Anonymous" since Blogger tied up with Google last week.I agree you can save money by going as a pair. The good thing is if you need to travel on your own these people do not hit you with an enormous "Single Supplement" like most other companies do. Quite a few of the single travellers were in the Pool Deck appartments, with the couples upstairs in the posh air conditioned rooms, and that was the only trade-off. You take your choice!
