Here's that fabulous memento I was presented with in Witney on Friday.

What fun to play against two of the games' legends like that! I had the honor of playing John in an exhibition match once. I was hitting fairly well, but it just didn't matter the way he was hitting the 140's and 180's. I will post a picture on my blog in the next few days.

For me it was so annoying to not even average 40 though! I've played John about 5 times now, and the best I've ever done is to be down to a theoretical finish when he got the winning double. The other 4 times were junk like this :o)

Hi Les, I'm afraid I missed the lights being switched on at 18:30 due to Deb having to cope with both Sat Nav and me piping up with helpful driving advice from the passenger seat :o) Hey, she wasn't happy!
