The 2007/8 season ends tomorrow night when we sign off with a home game against Chopwell Central. Regardless of the result this has been a great season for us – the best in my three years with The Chelmsford, and I'd like to think we've raised the bar for future seasons. During the close season I'll continue with the practice and trips up to The Derwentside to see if anyone is playing up there on a Friday night, and I'll also post a few reviews of what went well / badly for us this year. In the meantime I'll get some practice in for tomorrow night, and we'll be doing all we can to hold on to 5th position in the League.

Look forward to seeing you at the Derwentside during the close season. The usual suspects are there most weeks. It's a shame you weren't in last Friday as although there was only 4 of us playing the standard was higher than usual with 5 180's hit, 2 16 dart legs and a fair few other games finishing in under 20 darts. Good luck with the season finale Tommo! I am already looking into options to play league next fall, and I will be going to a few tournaments this summer. As usual I will keep blogging.

Hope you manage to hang onto 5th spot. We finished 4th and lost in two finals ,not bad for our first year in the premiership. Won't be going to Barbados this year , going to Cape Verde in a couple of weeks to look at property and relax for a while,anyhow good look for tommorow.
